SEBI, vide circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-2/P/CIR/2023/51 dated April 5, 2023, has specified provisions related to advertisement code to be followed by a Research Analyst (RA) in their advertisements. Further, SEBI vide circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD1/P/CIR/2024/146 dated October 24, 2024, has clarified that Research Report and research recommendations of an RA are not considered advertisement unless anything contained in the research report is in the nature of promotion of products or services offered by an RA. The said circular is attached as Annexure-1. RAs are requested to submit the advertisements (attachment size not exceeding 5 MB) for approval of the Exchange on [email protected] The Exchange is in the process of developing a module for submission of the advertisements for approval. A separate notice will be issued in this regard. The enlisted RAs are requested to take note of the same and ensure compliance.
